For the passionate music fan and online community expert. Warner Bros. Records is an Artist based music company, not just a record company! We have an amazing roster of artists, and are building the infrastructure and teams to empower artist fan relationships.

Position Description

Oversee day-to-day operations of on-line communities for WBR roster, including Artist sites, fan clubs and Artists’ presence on social networks across many different genres of music.

Build Artists’ careers and grow fan bases through online communities, and social networks.

Establish metrics for Artists’ communities and track weekly goals across site traffic, social networks, email databases, and mobile lists.

Build teams of fans to assist in maintenance of Artists’ sites, social networks, community management, and moderation.

Manage virtual teams to promote Artists’ releases, merchandise and ticket sales.

Increase site traffic, time spent on site, data capture and revenue via Artists’ web sites.

Explore and implement paid community models.

Read and analyze message boards, blogs, and other artist sites and provide feedback to company on music community response.

Assist in creation of Artists’ websites to assure they fit community needs.

Support e-commerce team and online stores.


Requirements

Minimum 5 years experience running Music/Entertainment communities.

Self-motivated and creative team player with a strong ability to stimulate and facilitate online user communities.

Understand dynamics and trends within social network sites.

Experience managing and motivating virtual teams.

Experienced in social/new media outreach, practices and techniques.

Someone who has conducted successful campaigns and can create a comprehensive social media strategy.

Must be able to handle multiple priorities and communities at the same time and be able to work with a distributed team.

Must have excellent communication skills (both oral and written).

Experience building online interaction among members of large-scale communities, niche communities and growing community, and understanding the different skills and toolsets required for each.
