Community Marketing Manager, Content Solutions at Autodesk

It is focused on helping designers find digital models of building materials and components to include in their project designs. We are looking for a Marketing professional with a record of success in building awareness, driving user traffic, and fostering user-generated content sharing for a major a web-based business. We’re looking for a candidate who can articulate the value of user participation and implement specific, consumer-like social networking tactics and programs that entice and compel a strong, committed user base to contribute content and expertise. This person will be a manager of all aspects day-to-day community life on seek.autodesk.com, including setting tone, enforcing rules and managing community leaders. This person will also participate in product development for new community initiatives.
Responsibilities include:
• Work closely with Product Management to develop deep understanding of our target user base.
• Drive development and execution of strategic marketing plans – along with product marketing and product management - focused on user traffic generation and community engagement.
• Develop and implement online and offline marketing programs, events, positioning/messaging, naming, and collateral for Autodesk Seek, in coordination with other marketing initiatives .
• Clearly communicate marketing strategy to senior management and to the broader Autodesk organization.
• Collaborate with marketing groups throughout Autodesk, including design software product teams and corporate marketing, to coordinate marketing activities.
• Evaluate ROI of marketing campaigns and manage expenses to a budget.
Requirements include:
• Prior experience building Web communities.
• Understanding of the search, internet, and online advertising market.
• Strong aptitude for determining the optimal way to position Web services in the market.Five plus years experience in marketing program management, preferably with technical products. Understanding of architecture/building industry is a plus.
• Familiarity with the design software market is a plus.
• BA/BS degree, MBA a plus.
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
• Strong planning, leadership, organization, and execution skills.Experience managing marketing budgets and demonstrating ROI.
• Ability to coordinate people and activities across multiple functional areas.
