Gaia is looking for a seasoned Acquisition Marketing Manager to lead customer acquisition and conversion strategy and execution. Strong analytical skills, an understanding of user-site flow dynamics, and strong online marketing experience and a history of success are a must. The "ideal" candidate will have a proven track record of driving successful acquisition strategies and launching products in a similar content portal environment, demonstrating incremental revenue growth. Comp. $80-100K base (possibly higher for the right candidate) + full benefits + stock options. MUST HAVES:

- 5+ years experience working in online consumer media in a Marketing Mgr role related to online consumer acquisition, direct response/database marketing, social network, and SEO
- Experience in channel marketing planning, as well as hands-on experience managing campaigns across multiple online channels and mixed media
- Strong analytical/quantitative skills (must be able to read and interpret marketing reports and make recommendations), as well as verbal/written communication and project mgmt
- Experience handling optimization of response rates and P&L by actively recommending market tests, as well as reporting and ROI-focused
- Self-starter and results-oriented; motivated contributor who brings passion and drive to succeed; ability to work in fast-paced environment and remain cool under pressure
- An acute sense of lifestyle trends, media savvy, pop culture hit lists and brands, as well as strong understanding of broader entertainment industry; games, music, and movies etc.
