JOB SUMMARY AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
For Assigned Project Components:
* Participate in functional requirements definition;
* Participate in conceptual design and architecture of solutions;
* Develop specifications for realization of solutions;
* Understand and execute according to project plan;
* Perform development, testing, quality assurance and implementation of solutions;
* Follow company standards for development life cycle, code and documentation of software, and employee practices, procedures and reporting requirements.
Generally:
* Update and maintain the highest of professional credentials;
* Participate in periodic review and refinement of development standards;
* Mentor and enhance skills of more junior developers.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
* No less than 3 years’ experience as a C++ software developer;
* A Bachelors or equivalent degree from a recognized and accredited college or university.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* Expert-level skills in C++ programming;
* Expert-level skills in Linux operating environments;
* Significant skill in web development and deployment;
* Significant experience with accepted software development lifecycle methodologies;
* Complete fluency in spoken and written English.
