Job Description
We are seeking a Community Manager to work with in a cross-departmental team that supports a community of more than 50,000 real estate professionals who partner with Clear Capital to provide the industry the best products and solutions available. The primary communication and product completion interface between our vendor community and Clear Capital is web based. The health of our vendor partnerships is paramount to providing our unrivaled services and intelligent valuation solutions to our customers.
The Community Manager will create strong, mutually beneficial partnerships with our vendor community through online mediums such as email and our Web interface, and in-person via telephone and tradeshows. The Community Manager will 1) Facilitate and manage all communication with our vendor network; 2) Train and coach internal staff on our vendor community philosophy and communication style; and 3) Promote Clear Capital’s commitment to establishing the industry standard for community management.
The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to learn and embody our unique philosophy and communications style. He or she will also have demonstrated writing and editing skills with experience developing communication plans and working with large online communities.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
• Analyze how real estate professionals work and use our website to identify 1) the best ways to communicate to our community; and 2) improvements to help our community work more efficiently
• Communicate the needs and expectations of all related departments to our community of real estate professionals
• Maintain a map of all communication touch points within our community
• Create and maintain a panel of individuals from the community to solicit feedback from on website and process enhancements
• Manage a communication platform that informs our vendor community of upcoming system enhancements, training modules, best practices, and new reports
• Manage and provide content for online community tools
• Design and maintain external communication on our vendor rating system
• Provide performance feedback and coaching to community members
• Establish and maintain a process for screening and assessing the skill level of community applicants
• Provide new hire and regularly scheduled training sessions on Clear Capital’s community management philosophy, communication style, and all standard community messaging
• Manage internal coaching and communication processes to ensure Clear Capital’s policies and community interaction model reflect company philosophy
• Represent Clear Capital at conferences
• Manage escalated vendor issues
Required Job Related Skills and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or communications related field with two years of relevant work experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Experience developing corporate or community communication plans and workflows
• The ability to understand and enthusiastically represent the style, goals, and initiatives of Clear Capital management
• A communication style that is friendly and empathetic, yet confident and focused
• Ability to represent Clear Capital positively and effectively at conventions and real estate offices
• Ability to effectively speak in front of large groups
• Ability to maintain objectivity when dealing with emotionally charged situations
Additional Qualifications
• Highly evolved interpersonal, organizational, and management skills
• Prior experience managing online communities
