Community Manager at Trade2Win

Who we are
Trade2Win (T2W) - www.trade2win.com - is a leading online community for traders in the financial markets with 175,000 registered members and have been online since 2001. We have fully embraced the concept of remote working with team members from several different countries all working remotely and communicating mostly via skype.
What you'll do
* Organise and manage the T2W forum moderators and liaise with the executive, editorial and technical teams.
* Establish and manage a new paid subscription service.
* Engage and communicate with the T2W community via our forums, monthly newsletter and blog; and externally via Twitter and Facebook.
* Represent the needs and desires of the T2W community with the T2W management team.
* Work with the T2W staff to navigate the occasional troubled waters caused by forum postings.
* Serve as the initial point of contact for the site (eg. manage the main info mailbox, be the reply-to on the auto-responder pms welcoming new members).
* Establish metrics & report on them on a monthly basis including recommendations.
* Identify & engage advocates.
* Proactively escalate issues, observations, opportunities, and insights to the executive team.
* Stay up to date on new social media tools, best practices and how other organizations and companies are using them, so that the company can continue to be an early adopter of these technologies.
What we're looking for
* Ideally someone with 3+ years experience working with a team developing, managing or moderating web-based communities.
* Fantastic communication skills!
* A level head and sound judgment.
* You should be passionate about engaging with people online. Ideally you're very active already on forums, twitter, facebook, linkedin, your own blog and others.
* Have a solid understanding of web development and web functionality, to be able to explain processes to user and understand bug reports.
* Enough experience of HTML to feel confident enough to create and update a monthly html newsletter.
* An interest in financial trading would obviously be advantageous!

What we can offer
Full-time, flexible remote working with a team whos core hours are based around BST (London) time. Please note that a poor overlap on these core hours could prove to be unworkable. Salary negotiable and depending on experience/skills.
