Director, Social Networking Practice
General Summary:
This position will be responsible for managing the development and growth of social networks with a market research focus.
Essential Job Functions:*
1. Establish a business plan and go-to- market strategy for a suite of products leveraging the social network-based market research capabilities of the different business units and select strategic alliance partners.
2. Development and continual improvement of market-research focused products/services to be delivered within a social network environment
3. Develop proposals. Establish execute plans to facilitate business development.
4. Play a lead role in the execution of projects sold.
5. Act as a spokesperson about Company capabilities and tools in the social networking arena.
6. Work as an effective team member with other divisional social networking staff to ensure full integration of all Company capabilities in the social networking space
7. Identify and build staff as business growth dictates
8. Provide subject matter expertise on emerging technologies regarding social media.

Qualifications: Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities:
1. Must have a track record of success developing social network communities with a recognized company on the client side. Fortune 200 company is preferred.
2. Must be able to articulate Company and client vision in a social media atmosphere.
3. Ability to communicate with individuals at all levels in the company and with various business contacts outside of the company in an articulate, professional manner.
4. Excellent time management, organization, and prioritization skills. Must be able to multi-task to meet strict deadlines.
5. Self-direction, tact, diplomacy, and a courteous and professional demeanor.
6. Ability to be meticulous with accuracy and detail.
7. Must be deadline sensitive and adaptable to change.
8. Must be a team player and able to function effectively in a fast-paced environment.
9. Must be entrepreneurial during early days of the business.
10. Must be a doer as well as a seller.
11. Must be able to successfully manage a team of associates.
12. Service orientation is essential.
Education, Experience, and Certification:
1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.*
2. 3 to 5 years previous relevant marketing and social media/networking arena is required.*
3. Retail and market research experience is required.*
4. Client-side experience required.*
5. Master’s degree preferred.
6. Business to business experience is preferred
